The shape of the ultrasonic beam is very important in ultrasonic velocimetry. This is why the shape of the ultrasonic beam is available for all the transducers we offer. This information is available in UDOP under the tool menu.
Aliasing often appears. This is why having a tool that auto correct the aliasing greatly extend the application of UDV. We developed two tools. The first one is based on the analysis of the measured curves, and the second on uses two different values of the pulse repetition frequency (PRF).
UDOP can bypass all the processing path anf place in a file the I and Q values of the demodulated echoes. This allows to apply your own processing tools and algorithms to extract some specific information.
